The Opportunity
This position works out of our Almaty location in the EPD Division.
As the Medical Advisor CIS, you’ll be providing scientific and clinical support and expertise to drive Abbott products.
What You’ll Do
• Develops and executes medical strategies for assigned Abbott products / therapeutic areas
(TAs), incl setting the goals, experts’ involvement, proposing clinical studies, literature analysis,
medical information responses, standard and special slide-sets preparation, Field Force
education, promo materials approval.
• Identification and implementation of new opportunities for the products, work in a brand-team, Advisory Board organization, preparation of scientific publications
• Work with the Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), incl Chief Specialists of the Ministry of Health,
Healthcare Associations, groups developing Clinical Guidelines
• Strategically contributes to planning clinical studies for the products in the zone of responsibility
• Molecules and cases assessment for Portfolio (BD assessments), independently builds patients’ flow and performs medical justification.
• Supports special responses to PV, QA, Regulatory, other relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
• Medical (preferable) or other relevant education (pharmaceutical, biological, etc); PhD is an advantage;
• English language- upper-Intermediate
• 1-2 years of previous experience in Pharma is needed as Medical advisor, MSL
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, excellent skills in working with medical literature, competitive information
• Strong medical writing and presentation skills, ability to present to Company Management (IB, MTC, other settings)
• Ability to work in a complex multitask and cross-cultural environment, with stakeholders all around the world
• Excellent communication and negotiations skills, team work, proactivity, intrapreneurship
