About the Knowledge Team

Knowledge is not just a supporting function at Deel - it’s the foundation of our product and one of the core reasons customers choose us. When a company uses Deel to hire globally, they’re not just outsourcing payroll or compliance; they’re buying instant access to deep, always-up-to-date expertise on how work gets done in 100+ countries. That knowledge powers everything from contract creation to tax calculation to leave policies - and it’s what gives our platform its competitive edge. And, it is what grounds our AI Products. In short, Knowledge is the most foundational building block at Deel.

The Knowledge group is building the infrastructure that turns this proprietary expertise into a product: a next-generation CMS, country knowledge base, and a scalable system for surfacing product and regulatory logic across Deel. This includes near real time knowledge ingestion, the best in-class knowledge retrieval and a framework for customised knowledge apps.

If you’re excited about building foundational systems that touch almost every workflow in the business - and about disrupting global compliance by transforming messy, manual, fast-changing information into powerful, scalable software - this is the team to join.

What You’ll Do

As a Staff PM, you’ll:

  1. Own the Knowledge Platform and Knowledge Apps, CMS, and AI-powered knowledge distribution tools - used by thousands of customers and internal agents daily.

  2. Drive the automation and intelligent maintenance of large-scale, ever-changing content systems, especially around global labor laws and compliance data.

  3. Partner deeply with content, engineering, design, AI, support, legal, and GTM teams to build both backend systems and polished frontend experiences.

  4. Shape how knowledge is structured, stored, and distributed - from schema design to UX surface.

  5. Elevate Deel’s UI quality by using the Knowledge Hub as a flagship product for design and usability.

  6. Balance internal efficiency (CMS) with external delight (Hub, AI, and embedded surfaces).

  7. Drive clarity and rhythm within the team — managing planning, priorities, and execution through structured but lightweight agile practices.

  8. Work with our Knowledge content team to ensure the highest quality knowledge content.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You

  1. Are a senior or staff-level IC with 8–10+ years of experience owning complex internal + external products.

  2. Have experience with Information Retrival(AI Search, Ranking), RAG, AI/LLM tooling, automated knowledge extraction.

  3. Have experience with content platforms, structured data, CMSs, and AI-enabled search.

  4. Think in systems, abstractions, and schemas, and can work closely with engineers to bring those to life.

  5. Have worked on cross-org initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across teams.

  6. Are an excellent communicator - clear, persuasive, and able to turn chaos into clarity.

  7. Know how to absorb large volumes of input and distill it into actionable roadmaps.

  8. Are comfortable saying “no,” but always with a better path forward.

  9. Care deeply about quality - from content precision to frontend UX polish.

  10. Are a natural operator — you keep the trains running without turning everything into a process-heavy machine.

  11. Know how to run clean, effective agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, retros, standups) and adjust rituals to fit the team’s needs.

Bonus If You

  1. Have experience with compliance, legal or tax tech.

  2. Have worked in global HR, payroll, or SaaS with structured compliance knowledge.

  3. Have partnered with support, content, or legal ops teams at scale.

  4. Understand platform approach to building products that power 100+ product teams.

Why This Role Matters

This is a high-visibility, high-leverage position. The systems you build will:

  1. Strengthen our market differentiation.

  2. Serve as a pillar of global expansion.

  3. You’ll help define how knowledge becomes a product at Deel.

  4. Touch every Deel user and team.
