Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Fuel Yard plant equipment.  Performs lower skilled duties involving mechanical and electrical maintenance.  Responsible for operating and maintaining stacker/reclaimer, conveyors, dewatering bins, and various other plant systems. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

• High school diploma, or GED equivalent is required.

• Must be willing to work on a rotating 12-hour shift work schedule.

• Good knowledge of basic math, reading and writing skills required.

• Ability to use all hand tools and other various tools.

• Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and motor cranes is preferred.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Basic computer skills.

• All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position. POSS / MASS exams are administered on an as-needed basis by Human Resources.
