The Procurement Sourcing Specialist consolidates materials and equipment requirements to leverage pricing and to establishing supplier sources for all award-winning new and renovated Drury Hotels.  You will be part of a dynamic environment and collaborate with a team of Procurement, Engineering, Architectural, Design, Logistics professionals and suppliers.  This position offers you the potential to grow and advance your procurement career with Drury Hotels.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Work under the direction of the Procurement manager responsible for Construction purchasing.
  • Consolidate and forecast material and equipment requirements to suppliers.
  • Request competitive price quotes; seek to leverage multiple projects for improved pricing.
  • Locate, screen, and qualify new suppliers in support of company needs and requirements.
  • Gather information/specification sheets from vendors; set up new materials and vendors as required.
  • Analyze markets and logistics in order to assess present and future material availability.
  • Negotiate contracts and purchasing agreements as needed.
  • Create Purchase Orders for materials and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain communication with all involved parties keeping everyone informed of current pricing and plans.
  • Ensure Drury Brand Standards are followed.
  • Occasional travel to jobsites required.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Team player who works productively with a wide range of people.
  • Motivated self-starter, comfortable in fast-paced environment.
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Workday preferred.
  • Experience with blueprints/design/layout a plus.
