About the Role:

You will be joining one of the most respected providers of comprehensive market data, software and integration solutions for the downstream petroleum and bio-energy industries as a Senior Sales & Business Development Executive. You will be an integral member of the high-performing sales team responsible for generating new software and service revenues by helping our clients gain insights and solve their business problems with the use of our Supply Chain Management Software and Data Service solutions. You will frequently meet with customers in-person and via presentations, matching Axxis solutions to current and future strategic customer challenges. You will report to the Vice President of Product Marketing.   

You Will:

  • Sell Axxis software and service solutions across all buying centers in organizations that align with our solution areas – including but not limited to Retail and Wholesale Fuel Procurement and Fuel Sales, Accounting, IT and Risk Management
  • Develop and implement a solution-selling strategies that compliments the Sales Team’s sales quota action plans
  • Qualify prospects, determine the appropriate software solutions, and demonstrate the benefits the solutions
  • Increase Axxis market share through competitive replacements and conversions
  • Self-generate referrals and create new marketing campaigns alongside the Axxis Marketing Team
  • Coordinate Trade Show and Industry Events with the Vice President of  Sales & Marketing and the Axxis Marketing Coordinator

You Have:

  • 7+ years’ software solutions sales and product demonstration experience 
  • Experience selling supply chain or enterprise software solutions (preferred)
  • Downstream Petroleum industry experience (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze a customer’s workflow, assess challenges, and determine where the Return on investment is most effective
  • Experience generating substantive sales pipelines to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • At least 10% domestic travel to customer sites and trade shows throughout the US is mandatory
