Your New Role…
This position will be responsible for ensuring proper evaluation of WBD Global customer creditworthiness through credit investigations and evaluations, analyzing customer financial statements and setting customer credit limits, maintaining accurate customer records, and ensuring effective communication with the OTC teams and Sales teams on customer creditworthiness status including bankruptcy and customer watchlist reporting.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Research and evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial data and business credit reports from various customer credit portals (such as Dun and Bradstreet) through the customer onboarding process
  • Routinely analyze and communicate the financial condition and performance (historic, current, and projected) of WBD’s Global customer portfolio by performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of customer’s financial statements, business credit reports, and other relevant data related to creditworthiness
  • Review and analyze credit review requests to determine financial and non-financial strengths, risk levels, and provide recommendations for credit limits
  • Evaluate trends in customer data to promptly identify and report areas of concern and determine the course of action to mitigate these risks
  • Persuasively communicate credit and financial analysis rationale and recommendations to key stakeholders in both written and oral form
  • Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Credit tool to automate customer credit monitoring and own the accompanying processes including monthly reporting, system updates, and ensuring data quality
  • Manage credit hold statuses and review AR balances, unbilled orders, and past due balances

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Undergraduate university degree such as Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative discipline Indicate if an experience, skill, or qualification is required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial reporting or related field
  • Ability to develop financial spreadsheets, graphics, and maintain financial databases using data management systems, (e.g., Access, SQL, PowerBI, or other query tools).
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Understanding of credit scoring models and methodologies and experience analyzing business credit reports
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office® suite products, i.e. Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excel - Ability to create complex spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • PowerPoint – Ability to create and modify business presentations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret complex financial data
  • Ability to identify trends and patterns in financial performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Desire to provide exceptional customer service
  • Good organizational skills with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ERP systems and subledger boundary systems
