Job Description

As a Grace Hopper Intern in the Remote Support Services (RSS) department, you will explore a new career path by gaining hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation technologies and participating in a variety of technical and soft skills trainings. You will be part of a supportive team focused on career reboot and development. You will report to the RSS EMEA Internal Development Supervisor and work mostly onsite in Katowice, Poland, with occasional opportunities to work from home.

This internship is especially suited for individuals looking to transition into the industrial automation field and explore a new professional direction.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in technical trainings on Rockwell Automation software and hardware products.
• Engage in SEP Electrical qualification, certification basics, and quality systems training.
• Develop soft skills through public speaking, project management, and language workshops.
• Take part in Remote Support phone and chat simulations to build customer service capabilities.
• Collaborate on promotional activities and represent Rockwell Automation at industry events.

The Essentials – You Will Have

• Work experience or student status.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and operating systems.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level.
• Legal work and stay permits in Poland.
• Availability of 25–32 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

• Experience working in ambiguous scenarios
• Familiarity with technical environments or customer support.
• Interest in retraining or transitioning into a technical career.
• Proficiency in Polish (written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level.
