We are looking for an experienced and passionate Vice President, Payments Platform to join the TDSecurities team and lead the platform in creating the next generation of innovative payment solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who is creative, forward-thinking, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in payments and platforms, as well as the ability to work with the global team and create innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in creating innovative payment solutions that meet the needs of customers.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, and designers.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful execution of payment platform initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in the payments industry and develop strategies to capitalize on those trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payment regulations.
  • Utilize data to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and new technologies.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors.

Qualification

  • Minimum 12 years of work experience in technology and minimum 5 years of payments industry experience
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills
  • Strong Business and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work independently yet collaborate in a global team environment.
  • Experience In Developing and Executing Product Strategies
  • Knowledge Of Payments Platforms
  • Familiarity With International Payments Regulations
  • Familiarity with SWIFT and Iso payments
  • Technical Proficiency In Payments Technology

Strong Experience With:

  • Microservices architecture
  • API development using Java. Spring
  • Front end application development knowledge using Angular or react
  • Strong application and web security knowledge
  • Coding best practice
