The pay range is $87,000.00 - $156,000.00

As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the response to the most critical cyber security incidents across the Target environment. You will own the coordination, communication, escalation, and remediation of high-severity security and privacy incidents impacting Target and its partners. You will collaborate with analysts from Incident Response (CSIRT), Cyber Threat Intel (CTI), Threat Detection (TDO), Cyber Fraud (CFAI), Insider Threat Protection (ITP) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to address complex problems in a Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) environment. You will partner with teams across Target to guide their response strategies and manage work streams, identifying and implementing new processes and procedures to improve Target's security posture. You will regularly interface with partners such as Communications, Law, and Risk to ensure all facets of response to security events are considered, including regulatory, reputation, and messaging concerns. You will facilitate urgent containment and remediation efforts by leading war rooms, keeping teams aligned, tasked and informed of progress to secure Target’s information assets. Additionally, you will help prepare the organization for future security events by developing and leading practice events such as table tops and war games, providing a safe space to rehearse and test incident response.

About You

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations Centers or Cyber Security Incident Response Teams in lieu of education requirement

  • Security certification (e.g. Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP)

  • Experience managing cases with Incident Management systems

  • Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, and adaptive learning

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Willing to work in a team-oriented environment

  • Willing to work a rotating, on-call shift (approximately one week per month on-call) 

  • Experience in leading crisis or security incidents preferred 

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
