Experienced Production Manager to oversee the conversion of raw materials into finished goods. This role is responsible for ensuring that production targets, as defined by the planning team, are consistently met while maximizing the efficiency of our automated packaging machines. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a focus on operational excellence, quality control, and team management.

  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficient and timely conversion of raw materials into finished goods.
  • Ensure that production goals set by the planning team are met or exceeded while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Monitor, optimize, and ensure the full capacity operation of automated packaging machines.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, troubleshoot machinery issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Lead, train, and motivate production staff to maximize efficiency, safety, and team performance.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime and ensure proper equipment functionality.
  • Track and analyze production metrics, providing reports and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production floor, ensuring adherence to sanitation and operational standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including logistics, quality assurance, and procurement, to optimize workflow and material availability.

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, business management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
  • Strong understanding of automated machinery and production workflows.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in production tracking software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
