About the Role

 

Quest Partners is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Technology team. You will take on a wide range of responsibilities and challenges across various internal initiatives. You will participate in an Agile framework, continuously improving and expanding platform capabilities. Projects can span from data pipeline building to building trading systems to helping automate performance reporting. 

 

Example Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with large data sets, model database structures, develop tools, automation and process optimization to facilitate the accurate and timely production of critical reporting.
  • Build technologies that bolster research & trading productivity.
  • Expand the system to new markets and asset classes.
  • Work on cross-functional teams across trading, quant, and development to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Design software solutions that meet or excel beyond industry standards
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Build out infrastructure to support trading pipelines; data warehousing & containerization to drive the success of the business.
  • Support users and operational flows for teams using the applications and tools developed

 

Experience:

 

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience; Advanced degrees welcome
  • 5+ years of experience building enterprise and scalable applications
  • Passion for the financial markets and working with large amounts of data
  • Strong experience with server side development – Python or C# preferred
  • Familiarity with front-end development
  • Familiarity with relational databases
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies/platforms
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desired
    • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
    • Experience with Snowflake
    • Experience with desktop technologies

The base range for this role is expected to be between $175,000 and $225,000. This does not include other aspects of compensation such as discretionary bonus and a competitive comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to a candidate will vary within the range above depending on factors such as qualifications, education, and skill level.
