Your Role on the Team

As a Property Compliance Senior Specialist at Invitation Homes, you are responsible for ensuring the market follows HOA or Municipality rules and regulations as well as efficiently correcting compliance issues for the assigned market(s). This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

  • Collaborating with market leadership and corporate personnel to monitor and facilitate the resolution of compliance items using resources available

  • Establishing relationships and ensuring effective communication with HOAs, management companies and municipalities

  • Performing the administrative functions concerning licensing, registrations, inspections, Business Tax Registration and any other municipal mandated administrative tasks

  • Attending hearings arranged by HOAs or Municipalities pertaining to compliance matters if needed

  • Interacting and communicating with team members explaining escalated concerns when needed

  • Ensuring proper execution of workflows and data integrity in the technology systems of record

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Your Experience Includes

  • High School or GED

  • One to two years of customer service and/or HOA/property management experience with a minimum of one year of leadership experience

  • Familiarity with federal fair housing laws and applicable local housing provisions

  • Ability to multitask using a variety of IT platforms simultaneously

  • Knowledge of Yardi and/or Salesforce is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications

  • Ability to solve problems constructively, work with limited supervision, and work well with others in a team environment

  • Excellent customer service skills, proficient verbal and written communication skills; and excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task with accuracy

  • Up to 25% travel within a market may be required

Salary Range

$39,750.00 - $68,900.00
