Toro Australia is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and specialized Sales Manager to join our Equipment Sales Team. As the face of our company, the Sales Manager will work closely with direct customers, contractors, councils, and occasionally dealers to cover regional areas.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving sales and promoting our brand, focusing mainly on Ventrac and supporting other valuable brands such as Harper and Foley. Key responsibilities include representing and selling our top-tier products, enhancing our company's image, and providing field technical support to Toro Australia's customers.

What will you do?

  • Conduct regular client visits for needs analysis and business development.

  • Provide in field demonstrations of equipment to end users.

  • Present on product range to varied customers from in-field contractors to corporate groups.

  • Internal reference point for other sales staff in regards to the identified specialised range.

  • Proactively represent the Commercial Business product and service portfolio.

  • Assist in preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts and develop strategies to achieve targets.

  • Monitor and report accurate market data, competitor activities, and emerging industry trends.

  • Stay current on new products, competitor offerings, and general market information relevant to customers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and approaches to maximise return.

What do you need?

  • Exceptional and proven sales skills, persuasiveness, and negotiation abilities.

  • Experience with capital equipment is valued.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Excellent PC and Microsoft Office literacy.

  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

  • Experience with Infor CRM or other database management systems.
