ROLE OVERVIEW: Respond to customer inquiries via telephone or email to provide problem resolution in accordance with the Organization's service standards.  Under more direct supervision and oversight. First-level response to basic and routine customer problems and needs. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in-person to provide basic-level support and simple information on products or services.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Communicates pricing, shipping dates, and appropriate order information to customers to ensure order fulfillment and satisfaction.
  • Contacts customers to respond to simple inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.
  • Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
  • Supports inside and outside sales.
  • Acts as front desk support, answering telephones, sending, receiving, and routing mail, and answering inquiries from colleagues and visitors. Updates and maintains files, including data entry.
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the coordinator’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate colleagues.
  • Inventory- starting and closing out EOM cycle counts and running weekly exception reports.
  • Payroll—May assist with approving timecards.
  • May serve as backup for HR on occasion, assisting with transactional tasks in Workday and other HR applications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience

  • Typically possesses 1-2 years of experience and a high school diploma.


Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel) and various ERP Systems knowledge required.
  • Experience using basic office equipment (i.e. copiers, calculators, etc.).
  • Excellent organization and data entry skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with HR duties preferred.
