Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Lead design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry
leading experiences for our clients, teammates and the business.
2. Coach experience designers and/or lead design initiatives to create inclusive
and engaging client experiences that support strategic vision.
3. Serve as lead with internal/external partners to provide expertise of experience design
standards, industry guidelines, design principles, research results and best practices.
4. Consult and collaborate with talented teams in a supportive, complex environment and
develop an understanding of broader organizational context and goals.
5. Contribute to the creation of experience design strategy and future vision for assigned
areas and utilize that strategy to drive increased client value.
6. Design and deliver artifacts across a variety of environments and contribute to the
continued improvement of the design processes and systems.
7. Foster productive partnerships and advocate for design.
8. Strong ability to communicate and present concepts and design rationale.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent work experience)
2. 4+ years of experience in the field (may include equivalent education)
3. Experience leading projects from inception to delivery
4. Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making
5. Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards
6. Excellent time and issue management skills
7. Extensive experience creating artifacts and executing ideas
8. Ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback and to promote a culture of critique
9. Proficiency in applicable software applications
10. English language fluency
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Relevant domain work experience
2. Experience interacting with creative teams, business owners, and technical teams
3. Working knowledge of engineering/development processes, particularly Agile
4. High comfort level in working within a self-directed culture
5. A strong passion for improving people's lives through design
