Job Description:
Title: Operations Manager

Line Management Responsibilities: Operational Managers, Supervisors, Clerks, Operatives and Drivers
Purpose:
To manage the day-to-day office operations – import, exports, transportation, (both domestic and international) functions. The aim of this position is to ensure all shipments are efficiently processed, recovered and dispatched in time to meet schedules required by the customers. The position includes managing all aspects of operational employees, ranging from their performance to assisting with their personnel files. The position extends to creating workable formal relationships with sub-contractors, handling facilities and maintaining a clear communication line with other departments within the Country offices and departments (Administration, Customer Service both in Country offices) and other international offices.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional Director, this person will be responsible for successfully managing the (Country) Operations function.
Improve staff cross-training and development
Help reducing fixed costs and increasing gross margin working on solutions to establish new cost efficient routes, negotiating with providers, etc… controlling facility / utility costs.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (OPS, CS, HR, IT and Finance), through operational improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
Oversee overall operational management, planning, systems and controls.
Management of operational budget in coordination with the Regional Director.
Management of external agencies relevant to (Country) operations
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $6,690.00 to $10,870.00 USD Monthly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
