This role will also be responsible for the local operations and responsibilities within the region for functions such as benefits, payroll, employee relations, and recruiting.  They will partner with the global leadership to utilize tools available to help optimize the local operations. 

Working with local team members to support employees and managers, this role will be an important part of the growth of the organization through operational and strategic leverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes, implements, and maintains the Functional/Regional unit HR strategy aligned with both the strategy of the business and the HR function in order to accelerate business transformation
  • Serve on the leadership team of the sub-business unit to construct long-range plans and advise on people and workforce planning strategic.
  • Contributes to and influence both short and long-term strategic initiatives of the business
  • Executes on the HR aspects of short and long-term strategic initiatives of the function and business including organization design transformation, skills transformation and workforce planning.
  • Identifies internal partnerships required to execute on strategic initiatives and building and leading formal and informal business, functional and cross-functional teams to drive achievement of objectives within defined timeframes.
  • Builds relationships of trust and respect across the team to facilitate effective coaching and guidance on leading through significant change, talent moves and selection and overall business execution.
  • Champions HR Operating Model ensuring effective change management and implementation across supported populations.
  • Builds effective, collaborative relationships based on clear and regular communication within the business unit, global partners, and HQ functions to ensure alignment on talent, priorities and communication, process ownership and messages are cascaded effectively across the global population.
  • In partnership with the COE contribute as a business POV to build effective global, functional talent assessment tools and development processes aligned with future talent needs.
  • Serve on the leadership team of the sub-business unit to construct long-range plans and advise on people and workforce planning strategic.
  • May be responsible for partnering to execute multiple people operational or functional operations at a localized level.  Partnering to manage and execute operation such as benefits, payroll, employee relations, localized policies and procedures.
  • Operates in a highly matrixed environment and will build partnerships with Global leaders and Regional leaders to translate and support aligned goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience:

Minimum 12-15 years experience in HR
