Job Description

The Senior Product Analyst, Business Intelligence will be responsible for assigned projects and may work as part of a team of Analysts and Engineers on projects. The position will require an in-depth knowledge of all Revenue Cycle KPIs and how they are used in reporting. The position will also be responsible for following internal operational processes for the Business Intelligence team.  This position will utilize Databricks, Power BI, and/or other programming, database, and statistical applications to ensure quality reports are written and distributed to the Business Intelligence Community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of stakeholders to identify/understand business objectives to fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience, drive growth and solve problems.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to complex business problems and seek opportunities to support the enhancement of our product and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain professional credible relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze business problems provided by stakeholders and transform them into implementable solutions for desired results.
  • Work with BI and Data Engineering teams to design, develop, implement, and manage product solutions.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Complete independent research, performing analytics on best solutions and leveraging, problem-solving skills to determine best possible outcome with Minimum Viable Product for operational users.
  • Leverage understanding of existing solutions in place as it relates to data pipeline across backend systems.
  • Understand current methods of data management, data summarization and calculations for the purposes of reporting.
  • Follow internal team operational processes, such as Portfolio Management and Governance oversight.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team to exchange information, ideas, and       answer inquiries.
  • Time management skills are required; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure work prioritization is aligned with Ensemble priorities.
  • Work as part of an agile team, ensuring the team is aligned around similar goals and objectives and attending all team meetings.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior team members or new hires.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • 5+ years of professional related experience.
  • Proficient with SQL query and SQL language.
  • Experience performing quality analysis for 3 or more years.
  • Experience with data models, data warehouses and/or reporting data stores. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, and internet. 
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Knowledge.
  • Databricks platform is a plus.
  • Ability to diagram data flows and process maps.
  • Power BI
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning.
  • Analytical problem solving, ability to complete thorough root cause analysis, research skills. 
  • Proven ability to lead projects and implement solutions across cross-functional teams. 
  • This position pays between $83,200-138,600 based on experience
