POSITION TITLE: Merchandiser

LOCATION OF POSITION:  Shunde, China

REPORTING TO: Senior Merchandise Manager

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Manage individual counterpart development orders with Reginal Office for those styles allocated for vendor development. Be responsible for development samples in vendors in terms of sample delivery date / quality, initial costing with cooperation from original office, like KBB / India & Pakistan office. And ensure we serve our customer's needs (US) to the best of our ability.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Include but not limited to

• Ensure customer's requirements are met by coordinating with Original office, such as KBB office / India office / Pakistan office.
• Follow up vendor sample status through Regional office. For those vendors country without regional office, need to follow sample status directly with vendors.
• Provide initial costing to US team with assistance from Regional Office. For those vendor country without Regional office, need to work with vendors directly.
• Provide accurate information to both RO / Vendor / US counterpart.
• Regularly communicate with buyers in the US for individual development sample needs.
• To strike a balance between aesthetic requirements and production feasibility. Ensure to acknowledge highlight potential production issues to buyers in the US and Sourcing team in Kontoor.
• Coordinate with makers/Regional Office to outsource samples when there are capacity issues in our facility.
• Work closely with all stakeholders to follow and maintain development calendars, keep track of timelines, and ensure execution.
• Build  partner relationships with Design and sourcing teams and regional office. 
• Provide help to internal development if needed.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Include but not limited to

• Over 4  years of experience in Clothing, Fashion, Textile, Management.
• Possess acknowledge in fabric, textile, wet & dry process.
• Fluent oral English and can communicated with US / RO with written English as well.
• Good time management skills with understanding about urgency and importance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to readily adopt changes.
• Good hands-on knowledge of Computer and MS Office apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Be able to communicate with oversea group of people with different culture.
• Have strong sense of responsibility.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree or above
• CET 4 is preferred
