Job Summary
This role leads the EMEA Marketing Operations team, which includes both Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and Alliance Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a diverse group of marketing analytics and operations professionals. The position focuses on optimizing daily workflows, managing performance analytics, implementing streamlined processes and tools, and ensuring accurate budget oversight. Additionally, the role involves conducting closed-loop analyses to drive continuous improvement, developing training resources, serving as a subject matter expert on process enhancement, and executing talent management responsibilities across the region.
Responsibilities:
• Managing a team of marketing analytics and operations professionals, overseeing their daily activities such as staffing, workflow coordination, and budget oversight.
• Managing the execution of marketing excellence and performance management projects to develop operational processes, marketing policies, measurement frameworks, analytical models, and actionable plans that maximize the return on marketing investment.
• Supervising the development of value-added business performance analytics, optimization solutions, and strategic plans, providing senior leaders with actionable recommendations based on analytical research.
• Directing the implementation of marketing operation processes and tools.
• Conducting closed-loop analyses to drive continuous improvements in marketing operations.
• Driving the development of training and research materials and related processes and tools.
• Managing the team to track program metrics, monitor budgets, and support marketing operations.
• Acting as a subject matter expert, identifying opportunities for process improvement and policy development, and recommending changes aligned with business tactics and strategy.
• Performing talent management responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development.
Education & Experience Recommended:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in management (preferably in Operations or Data Analytics).
Knowledge & Skills:
• Familiarity with purchase-to-pay workflows, financial compliance, and process automation.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and financial/capacity modeling.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to create clear, concise materials for senior leadership and stakeholder reviews.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams, including virtual coordination.
• Strategic thinking and the capacity to build alignment across cross-functional, globally dispersed teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Strong change management, project management, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Analytics or Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
