Position Summary: 

The HR Governance and Policy Associate is responsible for maintaining and updating the Company’s Employee Handbook, ensuring compliance with state and federal people reporting requirements, and staying up to date with legislative changes impacting the HR function. The role requires a strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Legislative Compliance

  • Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws for changes that impact company HR policies and procedures.

  • Communicate impactful legislative changes to appropriate HR stakeholders.

Policy Development & Implementation

  • Identify HR policies and procedures that need to be developed and/or updated, working together with appropriate HR stakeholders

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new HR policies and procedures.

  • Conduct policy audits to ensure alignment with legal requirements.

  • Monitor the approval of policy changes in partnership with the Compliance team.

Audits & Reporting

  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), State, and Federal people reporting requirements.

  • Partners with internal and external auditing teams to coordinate efforts relating to HR process and system audits, such as the IT audits, Operational audits, Seller audits, Compliance audits and remediation efforts.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Political Science, or English.

  • 1-3 years Human Resources or similar experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail, accuracy and consistency.

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Salary Range:

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate.  In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position.  PRA offers paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k match, life insurance, and other benefits to assist with the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees.
