The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the expansion of the Silence brand in the assigned territory, focusing efforts on opening new dealerships and building a strong commercial network for our electric vehicles.
Development of the dealer network
Identify, prospect, and open new dealerships in the assigned territory, with the goal of establishing a solid and efficient network in key cities and regions.
Develop long-term business relationships with potential dealers, assessing their ability to represent the brand and ensuring alignment with the company’s values and objectives.
Negotiate commercial agreements with new dealers, guaranteeing favorable terms and fostering sustainable growth of the network.
Market penetration and expansion
Execute market penetration strategies tailored to the specific characteristics of the assigned territory, ensuring the brand gains visibility and acceptance.
Lead the launch process of new points of sale, ensuring proper implementation of commercial and marketing policies.
Promote the brand’s image and values, working closely with dealers to maximize presence at points of sale.
Dealer management and support
Support new dealers in starting their operations, providing training and tools for success in selling electric vehicles.
Monitor network performance, offering continuous support in commercial strategies, marketing, and sales management.
Ensure compliance with the brand’s established image and communication standards.
Performance monitoring and loyalty
Maintain close and effective relationships with the dealer network to ensure loyalty and strategic alignment.
Regularly analyze commercial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
Achieve commercial objectives, both in terms of the number of new dealers and sales generated.
Fieldwork and strategy execution
Conduct frequent visits to potential and current dealers, as well as key trade fairs and events in the electric mobility sector.
Execute and supervise commercial strategies on the ground, accompanying dealers in their sales activities.
Requisitos del candidato
Formal Education: University Degree. An MBA or Master’s in Commercial Management/International Trade will be highly valued.
Additional/Complementary Training: Fluency in English and in the language of the assigned territory (e.g., Italian, French, if applicable). Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of an ERP system (preferably Navision).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a similar position, with a strong focus on business development, sales, or dealer network management. Proven experience in opening and managing dealerships, preferably in sectors such as automotive, electric mobility, or technology.
Other Requirements: Ability to work in the field, demonstrating a practical and hands-on approach to identifying new dealers and expanding the commercial network. Strong negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to close favorable commercial agreements and establish long-term relationships. Results-oriented, with the capacity to achieve and exceed commercial objectives in a competitive environment. Excellent communication skills, autonomy, proactivity, and entrepreneurial spirit, capable of leading network development with a growth-oriented mindset.
