About the team:
FIS’ Treasury and Risk business is a market leading provider and provides Treasury, Payment, Market and Credit Risk solutions and services to Capital Markets clients.
Across our product lines, we provide professional services that focus on standard application implementations, upgrades, ongoing application support, technical and general consulting services, which ranges from process automation, system integration to ongoing product configuration, up to highly specialized consulting in certain domains, as just a few examples.
What you will be doing:
Business
- Partners with the global Risk PS leader to deliver the PS revenue, cost and margins globally.
- Works with the global Risk PS leader on accurate financial forecasting and acts to close gaps between forecast and budget.
- Owns the India capacity and ensures the team is staffed correctly to achieve budget.
- Tracks Utilization and allocation of the Group to be ahead of the target
- Works with global Risk PS leader and the business to understand product strategy and ensure services plans/goals are aligned (e.g., introduction of new modules, regulatory change, regional expansion) as well as drive the future PS strategy and transformation in alignment with the business and product strategy.
- Works with global Risk PS leader to develop road-to-home for PS Revenue, provide timely and competitive estimates, strong margins, SOWs and solutions that are sellable and maintainable.
- Works with the services organization and the LOB to develop future budgets and long-range plans.
- Develops strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as product, sales, pre-sales, hosting operations, development and client experience (CX).
- Represents PS interests during pre-sales and contract negotiation (e.g., daily rates, comprehensive scoping in place, key contract terms are included - essentially, we only enter commercially viable PS Contracts).
Responsibilities
- Develops strong relationships with senior stakeholders at key clients and projects and provides thought leadership/trusted advisor role.
- Escalation points for project issues, ownership of Get-to-Green plans.
- Identifies opportunities to upsell/cross sell additional services.
- Works with the global PS leader to develop and execute the hiring plan in alignment with the business and Capital Markets location/hiring strategy.
- Sets relevant individual goals for team members and ensures appropriate development and training plans are in place.
- Identifies key talent within PS by assessing team potential, ensures succession plans are in place and that the development needs of successors are identified and addressed.
- Develops and manages relationships with sub-contracting delivery partners.
- Develops and implements plans to address improvement areas as per Annual employee experience survey.
Innovation
- Creates a culture of continuous improvement.
- Introduces onboarding / packages delivery practices for products in scope. Identifies opportunities to introduce best practices or new services from other line of business.
- Actively participates in the new E2E journey implementing our new way of working End-2-End amongst all parties from Product, CIO, DEV, PS, CX, etc.
General managerial responsibilities
- Analyzes management reports and implement strategies to improve business performance.
- Builds organizational structure to meet business goals and objectives.
- Stays abreast of market and industry trends and project credibility in chosen area of expertise.
- Ensure team meets corporate policy targets, timesheets completions, access reviews etc.
- Makes timely, informed decisions and communicates rationale with factual accuracy and clarity.
- Drives and supports team building initiatives designed to improve morale.
- Managing escalations across the matrixed organization in supporting the PS leadership team members.
