Now we are seeking an organized and motivated Business Development Associate to support our agency’s new business efforts. This role will focus on managing the operational, logistical, and strategic aspects of our new business initiatives, ensuring that all pitch-related processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key role in CRM management, RFP/RFI support, pitch preparation, and financial analysis to drive our business growth.

What You'll Do 

  • Pitch Coordination: Oversee the scheduling, organization, resourcing, and logistics for new business pitches, including managing calendars and arranging necessary meetings.
  • Project Management: Ensure alignment between teams to meet deadlines and deliverables throughout the pitch process.
  • CRM Administration: Become a power user of HubSpot CRM by maintaining the platform, importing historical data, ensuring data hygiene, and keeping information organized and current.
  • CRM Content Development: Oversee the development of messaging for CRM campaigns and outreach efforts.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Create strategic, personalized outreach to relevant stakeholders at pharma companies that would be a good fit for AbelsonTaylor Group’s services.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to lead or assist in outreach efforts targeting existing and prospective clients.
  • RFP/RFI Assistance: Assist in the initial responses to RFPs/RFIs, managing straightforward queries and coordinating more complex questions with senior staff.
  • Pitch Deck Organization: Organize and create initial drafts of pitch decks and templates to support new business presentations while ensuring consistency and professionalism across all pitch materials.
  • Microsoft Teams Management: Lead best practices for organizing files and communications within Microsoft Teams while curating growth team content to keep brand/client lists and frequently used templates updated.
  • Financial Investment Analysis: Analyze financial investments in growth initiatives, tracking resource allocation and providing insights on return on investment (ROI).
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the cost-effectiveness of business development activities and identify opportunities for optimizing investments. 

What Makes You A Fit

  • Experience: 1-2 years of business development or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • CRM Experience: Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar tools is a bonus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate across teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Learning Orientation: Willingness to learn financial management and analysis.
