Altarum Institute’s Applied Research and Analytics Practice Area is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our fast-paced, demanding, but rewarding, consulting environment. We work to improve the health of disenfranchised populations by combining our expertise in public health and health care delivery to address health disparities, improve programs, and build better systems of care through an equity-focused lens.

This role will primarily work with the Survey Science team and may support work across projects on various health topics relevant to Altarum focus areas. For nearly two decades, Altarum’s Survey Science Team has worked with clients to design custom data collections and methods and apply advanced analytic capabilities. We specialize in statistically representative health surveys that provide accurate and generalizable data that are used by government entities to drive changes in health policy.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to use your expertise in statistics; research study design, including sampling procedures and power calculations; survey methods; developing data collection tools; leading data analysis; and developing reports and other communications that portray findings in compelling ways for a broad range of audiences. This role requires you to provide thought leadership and expert consultation to the team and our clients, as well as mentor earlier career analysts. The successful candidate will also bring experience participating in business development efforts, networking, and developing strong partner relationships.
