Key Position Details:

Hybrid opportunity - will require one day per week onsite at the Allina Commons

  • 1.0 FTE

Job Description:

Ensures the operational delivery of Human Resources inquiry and transaction resolution. Completes defined standardized and administrative work. Provides support for employees in a call center environment which will include chat inquiries, email and submissions within our CSM. Escalates complex inquiries to appropriate parties. Assures documentation of inquiries and resolutions.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations
    • Maintains accurate job data profiles on all records.
    • Identifies customer needs, research Human Resources issues to provide accurate customer resolution.
    • Executes/Educates Human Resources process workflow using HCM technology, case management, and telephony as applicable.
    • Educates and resolves escalations for tier 1, when guidance or clarification of policies and procedures is required.
    • Collaborates with other Human Resources Shared functions (IT, Legal, Compensation, Employee Relations, Payroll, etc.) and external parties (e.g., vendors).
    • Gathers data, performs, and supports various types of reporting (including standard auditing, transactional, ad hoc, compliance, etc.).
    • Serves as liaison to centers of excellence and business unit Human Resources when inquiries require escalation.
    • Enters transactions looking for accuracy, completeness and/or compliance with plan rules. Provide feedback to requestors around best practice.
    • Implements process and content changes in partnership with centers of excellence.
    • Processes tuition requests/advancements, grade submission audits, and tuition communications regarding approval/denial status.
    • Providing verification to employment to former/current employees.
    • Streamline toward: Process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
  • 0 to 2 years of Human Resources experience with an emphasis on HR Systems, Benefits, Paid time off, and Payroll


Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 to 5 years of customer service experience required; call center experience
