Key Responsibilities
Deployment Planning & Execution
Own the business-side project plan across people, process, and tool workstreams; maintain the integrated view of milestones, dependencies, risks, and resourcing gaps.
Run integrated project cadence: kickoffs, pacing meetings, barrier-clearing sessions, and cross-functional alignment; partner with IT PMs who own the technical plan to keep both tracks synchronized.
Lead site readiness assessments and go/no-go decisions; own the deployment communications plan (what sites need to know, when, and from whom) so frontline teams are prepared before go-live.
Manage scope, timeline, and stakeholder alignment across functional workstreams; escalate blockers early and drive decisions to maintain deployment momentum.
Functional Readiness & Standards
Ensure all functional deliverables exist and are complete before deployment gates: documented process standards, validated functional requirements, UAT coordination, training plan execution, and standard work sign-off.
Partner with Digital/IT to translate business needs into prioritized functional requirements, confirm solution design supports the global functional template, and maintain joint enhancements roadmap including sequencing and release readiness.
Own and maintain the global functional deployment template for each assigned initiative; ensure standards reflect actual operational needs and are updated as the target state evolves across sites and waves.
Partner with process engineers and global process owners to validate that deployed solutions accurately reflect the global standard; own business acceptance sign-off at key program milestones.
Cutover, Stabilization & Adoption
Own the go-live execution sequence and hypercare period: issue triage, defect prioritization, escalation paths, and stabilization metrics; define steady-state transition criteria before the deployment team exits.
Monitor frontline adoption metrics post-deployment; flag sites falling below threshold and drive corrective action in partnership with Global and Local process owners.
When standards or templates evolve mid-rollout, own the feedback loop: assess impact, communicate changes to affected sites, and incorporate updates into the next wave before execution.
Portfolio & Playbook
Own and continuously improve the DPE functional deployment playbook: readiness checklists, stabilization criteria, and wave planning tools that apply across ERP, MES, AI, and other initiative types.
Maintain accurate initiative status and surface risks early; ensure portfolio visibility is based on real deployment data, not optimism.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economy, Supply Chain or Engineering
Experience: Major in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing in an industrial environment, with direct accountability for multi-site program or deployment execution.
Proven track record leading cross-functional, business-side deployments that span people, process, and technology, not just technical project tracking.
Strong program management skills: scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, and escalation judgment across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Ability to translate operational needs into clear functional requirements and hold both IT and business workstreams accountable without owning either.
Strong influencing skills across functions and levels; able to drive decisions and maintain momentum in complex, multi-site environments.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 40%
Desired Characteristics
Experience deploying across multiple initiative types (ERP, MES, analytics) in a global manufacturing network.
Background in change management or adoption-focused deployment; understands that go-live is not the finish line.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and standard work; able to assess whether a deployed solution is actually being used as designed at the frontline.
Experience building or improving deployment playbooks and reusable frameworks that reduce ramp time on successive rollouts.
Comfortable rotating across a portfolio and ramping quickly on new initiative contexts; thrives in a startup-style team within a large enterprise.
