Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working on application development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the applications are aligned with business needs and requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements. - Design, develop, and test software applications using Workday Core Integrations. - Create and maintain technical documentation for applications. - Troubleshoot and debug application issues, and provide timely resolutions. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application development. - Assist in the deployment and implementation of applications. - Additional Responsibility 1: Mentor and guide junior professionals in application development. - Additional Responsibility 2: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations, Workday Data Mapping & Conversions. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core HCM. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing integrations using Workday Studio or EIB. - Knowledge of Workday data mapping and conversion techniques. - Familiarity with Workday security and data privacy standards. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday Core Integrations. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years of full-time education is required.
