The opportunity:

Our business area Substation Automation is active in engineering and implementation of systems for automation of high and medium voltage switchgears. Working within an international environment, we execute customer projects worldwide.

How you’ll make an impact:

• SAS application development with Micro SCADA, Workplace X HMI, RTUs and Gateways.

• Preparation of Functional Design Specification for SAS.

• Communication configuration of IEDs for SAS interface.

• Configuration of RTU system and interfacing with Network Control centre.

• Provide training on Substation Automation System.

• Technical support to tendering team during various sales stages.

• Provide testing and commissioning support for Substation Automation system including HMIs, Gateways, RTUs, Network switch’s, Firewall, GPS.

• Preparing of SAS Engineering documents.

• Preparation of Cybersecurity risk assessment and Cybersecurity implementations.

• Good understanding of substation secondary system.

• Ensuring commitment to the self-deliverables and responsible for Asst. Engineer deliverables (KPI factors).

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

​Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronic engineering or similar.

• 8-10 years’ experience in Substation Automation Systems.

• Should have deep knowledge about various Substation Automation network redundancy concepts and topologies.

• Should have knowledge about Hitachi Energy Grid Automation solutions.

• Strong knowledge on industry protocols: IEC61850, IEC 101, IEC 104, Modbus, OPC, DNP3.
