Job Description: Hitachi Energy Grid Integration Organization is seeking a Quality and Operation (Q&O) Digital Business and Data Analyst to join the Quality and Operation Management function, for identifying and gleaning insights from data and driving strategic digital initiatives and changes within Grid Integration.

More in specific, identifies, collects, cleans, analyzes data and interprets the results of the analysis, highlights data patterns and trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in quality and operation business planning, process and project improvement, solution assessment, etc.

Finally, recommends actions for future developments and strategic digital business opportunities.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Oracle P6 Primavera, and SharePoint, RELEX, and CCRP ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI data models and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process automation and optimization.
  • Design and implement data driven KPIs, metrics and reports to measure performance and monitor progress towards organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Power BI, Artificial Intelligence, and data analytics to recommend and implement best practices for data visualization, analysis and reporting.
  • Improve quality, productivity, and efficiency of our projects through integration and automation, IoT solutions, AI, cloud and advanced analytics.
  • Ensure data security and compliance by adhering to data governance policies and procedures.
  • Support the digitalization transformation program in the Quality domain in connection to the operational scope, identify and lead strategic digital initiatives.
  • Develop and update documentations training material related to quality digitalization tools deployed in Grid Integration whenever needed.
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional Quality Managers in business, performances and data analysis, and objective decision making on prioritization of activities.
  • Supporting in supervising the activities of a timely implementation of the various digitalization projects within Operation and Quality Grid Integration (i.e., digital process control, quality data collection, SAP Quality Module (QM), digital quality inspection, testing report systems, etc.)

Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
  • Preferable 5 to 7 years’ experience in business analysis, data analysis and digital transformation.
  • Proven experience in Data Analysis, preferably with expertise in Power BI and data analysis tools.
  • Strong proficiency in creating visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards (i.e., using Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Oracle P6 Primavera, SharePoint and Celonis, with experience in extracting and analyzing data from these systems, in machine learning and data lake.
  • Proficient in data modeling, data manipulation, and data visualization techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Continuous learning mindset with a keen interest in staying up to date with the latest advancements in data analytics and visualization.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge in Business Process Management and usage of process modeling tools (i.e., Adonis) is desirable.
  • International experience preferred, working with different countries and cultures.
