We're seeking an experienced Site Supervisor that understands property maintenance to join our team at IAH airport. The ideal candidate will have experience with simple facilities maintenance - simple plumbing, diagnose and repair lighting issues, patching walls, simple AC/HVAC repair and diagnosis. Additionally, we're looking for someone who can manage people, with the ability to communicate professionally to customers and fellow employees.

4th Shift:

You get Thursday day, Friday and Saturday off!

Your Shift: Sunday starting at 6pm to 6am, then Tuesday from 6pm to 6am, Wed again from 6pm to 6am. The last half day is Thursday at 12am getting off at 6am.

Pay Range: up to $75,000/year depending on experience

  • Ability to clearly direct, lead work tasks, and delegate assignments to peers.
  • Overall responsibility to carry out all the service provisions of the contract with the devoted time exclusively for the required scope of work with support from the Site Manager.
  • Oversee supervision of the day-to-day operations, manage exceptions, emergency situations and effectively communicate with the ACH, TSA and Airlines.
  • Be on call when needed, and be flexible
  • Supervise the administrative work including O&M Services, safety, training, inventory management, quality assurance, human resources, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and contract administration.
  • Provide daily oversight and direction of hourly employee teams to ensure operational excellence; including personnel scheduling, work order, safety, and productivity plans, material availability, and the handling and resolution of employee issues.
  • Interact daily with employee team members to provide support and on-the-job training.
  • Strive to improve management, employee, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop processes and documentation to support operational activities.
  • Availability for calls, requests and emergencies on a 24-hours per day, 7-days a week basis with maintaining a qualified alternate when absence at the site.
  • Perform duties in a safe, efficient and expeditious manner and provide proper team leadership and interaction for executing service excellence.
  • Attend regularly scheduled and/or on-demand meetings, required system training sessions, tours and inspections.
  • Identify potential problems by being valiant in monitoring and evaluating the required systems and equipment, and developing solutions for corrective maintenance.
  • Review and approve expenditures for parts, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted work requirements with support from the Site Manager.
  • Strong organizational, participative management, team building, customer service and verbal & written communication skills;
  • Comply with company safety program and trainings.
  • Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a Supervisory capacity required.
  • Active Driver License required
  • Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport required
  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays required

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate Degree or Technical College Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Airport operations a plus.
  • 2+ years maintenance experience preferred;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of Supervisor, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircrafts and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand / eye coordination is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The primary work environment is similar to an office environment.  However, the Maintenance Supervisor must have the ability to conduct business in outside weather conditions, near moving machinery parts; on an active Airport ramp; near vehicles and jet aircraft.

Pay Range:

$63,500.00 - $101,700.00
