About the role
The purpose of this role is to support the company’s strategic growth by providing technical sales expertise across key market segments and actively contributing to outside sales initiatives. The Sales Engineer acts as an Outside Sales professional, supporting a range of sales activities and managing customer relationships to drive business development and improve customer satisfaction. This role is critical in aligning customer needs with tailored system solutions, enhancing the performance of the commercial team, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. The position contributes directly to the execution of the RLC-VRF growth strategy and to achieving the business objectives set out in the 2025 plan and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Outside Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for RLC (Residential Light Commercial) & VRFs.
Engage with contractors, and end-users to promote our product offerings.
Prepare and deliver detailed sales proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, and timelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific HVAC needs and provide tailored solutions.
Respond to inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Provide expert knowledge on HVAC systems, focusing on RLC (Residential Light Commercial) & VRFs.
Assist in the selection and implementation of HVAC solutions for clients.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the HVAC industry.
Develop strategies to improve sales performance, market share, and brand positioning in the HVAC sector.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and presentations.
Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and project documentation.
Provide regular updates to management on sales pipeline, opportunities, and client feedback
