Role Overview

We are looking to hire a seasoned Software Developer to join our NYFIX Development Team at Broadridge with 5 or more years of experience. You’ll help build and enhance the NYFIX PORTAL, a key web-based platform connecting the global financial trading community. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in fintech, working with modern technologies such as JavaScript, ReactJS, and Java, alongside a global team of experienced developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features and enhancements for the NYFIX PORTAL and related applications.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JavaScript (ReactJS) and Java.

• Collaborate with global team members to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.

• Support the integration of front-end and back-end components using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JSON.

• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in software development.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

• Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance user experience and technical design.

• Provide support for testing, deployment, and production environments as needed.

Profile Needed

• 5+ years of JavaScript, ReactJS (or similar JavaScript framework, and Java software development experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, Node.js, Yarn, npm, and Webpack.

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work independently in a distributed team environment.

• Bonus skills in Spring Boot, OAuth2, Maven, Gradle, SQL, GraphQL, shell scripting, or financial systems will be an advantage.
