Agropur is looking for an Engineering Project Manager (vacant position) to join is Don Mills team.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring large-scale investment projects.

• Salary range 006: $108 200 to $135 300  (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

More specifically, the responsibilities of the Engineering Project Manager will be:

• Monitors the technical and financial aspects for major projects under their responsibility . Projects encompass a variety of fields (mechanical, processes, building, services, etc.).

• Designs, studies and develops investment requests. The expertise provided by the incumbent must take into account both the technical aspects and the impact of projects on human resources and finances.

• Manages calls for tenders and issues contracts in collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing department.

• Plans and coordinates project execution and oversees the associated work sites.

• Leads work teams and manages the technical resources required to carry out the projects.

• Works closely with the plant manager and his or her team to prepare projects and ensure they are well integrated into operations (maintenance, training, performance stabilization, etc.).

• Recommends ways to optimize operations and maintains a technological watch to generate new projects.

• Participates in analyzing and recommending plant selection for new product manufacturing.

What You Need to Join Our Team:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, automation) or other relevant discipline.

• 7–10 years of experience in engineering and managing projects in food processing or packaging.

• Strong project management experience: ability to plan, execute, and deliver under tight timelines.

• Knowledge of food industry processes.

• Experience working closely with operations teams or in an embedded operational role.

• Ability to lead multidisciplinary work teams towards a common goal.

• Good knowledge of MS Office suite and AutoCAD.
