Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to create applications that are efficient and effective, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microservices and Light Weight Architecture, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Have proficient in AWS Glue (ETL & Streaming Jobs), AWS SageMaker (ML Feature Processing & Model Integration), Kafka or Event Bridge–based event-driven pipelines - Have good experience in Microservices architecture, API integration, Java/ J2EE Framework development, Database- Oracle, SQL competency - Able to Build scalable, cloud-native data pipelines that power ML model development and deployment across the bank. - Be expert in AWS-based data engineering, ETL pipeline development, NoSQL systems (DynamoDB), and custom orchestration & scheduling solutions. - Able to collaborate with cross-functional data science, architecture, platform engineering, and product teams to deliver high-quality data integration capabilities for ML workloads. - Have exposure and knowledge on next-generation Machine Learning–driven capabilities. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
