Job Description:
Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (Buyer)
Job Summary:
As the Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (Buyer), you will ensure efficient materials management by analyzing BOMs and demand forecasts to optimize inventory and sourcing strategies. You will work closely with Commodity Specialists, suppliers, internal customers and logistics teams to handle procurement, and request for quotes (RFQs), and ensure timely deliveries. Your role will also involve managing inbound and outbound supply flows working closely with logistics and maintaining compliance with inventory processes.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Purchase requisitions, BOM and demand analysis to anticipate materials demand
Allocated stocks need
Support Commodity Specialists
Pricing - Request for quotes (RFQ process) and contracts updates
Documentation, incidents and internal compliance
Procurement (inbound) + Supply to projects (outbound) coordination with Logistics
Support Internal Warranty & Service aftersales, MRO and general services, Quality incidents when needed
Good Receipt and full cost posting
Safety stocks
Support logistics team to update import / export if needed
Qualifications:
Engineering or technical degree, international business or international sales
Specific training in sourcing, procurement or logistics
Higher Training Cycle
Level B2 English (minimum)
A second language is valuable
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Excel), Power BI and IA tools
SAP ERP (SAP 4H)
Advanced level, modules: Purchasing, Production Planning, Sales, Inventory or Logistics
Medium level modules: Needs planning (MRP)
