Summary: As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting to deliver impactful solutions. Roles and Responsibilities: • Strong understanding of legal and management consolidation processes, including currency translation, eliminations, and consolidation of investments. • Engage with client functional teams to gather, analyze, and finalize Group Reporting design requirements. • Apply in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, intercompany processes, and financial close activities to support consolidation design and execution. • Hands-on experience using: o Fiori apps for Group Reporting o Legal consolidation processes i.e Data collection, Currency translation, Elimination, reclassification and other processes o SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) o GRDC (Group Reporting Data Collection) • Familiarity with ICMR, data mapping, and flat-file uploads. • Identify and document functional gaps, propose standard or custom solutions, and work with technical teams to implement. • Create detailed design documentation, including: o Business Process Documents (BPDs) o Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) o Business Blueprints o Test Scripts • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Controlling, IT, Audit) to ensure business alignment and smooth project execution. • Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT, and assist in end-user training and go-live support. Professional & Technical Skills: • 7+ years of Finance/overall experience including at least 3+ years of hands-on SAP Group Reporting implementation • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting, including configuration, data modeling, and consolidation tasks (e.g., currency translation, intercompany eliminations, COI). • Solid working knowledge of Group Reporting with the ability to understand and bridge legacy and S/4-based consolidation tools. • Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations of SAP Group Reporting within S/4HANA environments. • SAP Certification in Group Reporting or S/4HANA Finance will be considered a strong advantage. • Additional experience (preferred but not mandatory): o SAP BPC Planning & Consolidation (Classic or Embedded) o SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and dashboarding use cases Additional Information- 15 years of education required
