The Coordinator, Sales Support provides administrative support for the Racing Electronics Wholesale business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Gain and maintain knowledge of 3M PELTOR through training modules and classroom settings.

  • Assist in processing orders and transactions through bCom.

  • Assist in resolving issues and concerns with distributors.

  • Submit monthly POS reports to 3M and reports to distributors as needed.

  • Provide estimated ship dates and tracking information.

  • Communicate with distributors on stock levels and lead time.

  • Contribute to organic sales growth by scheduling calls with distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and promote new products.

  • Introduce / expand product lines purchased by current distribution network.

  • Work with distributors on opportunities, communicate with 3M as needed and follow the sales process to close business.

  • Provide reports outlining sales pipeline and business closed with existing distributors.

  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with 3M.

  • Travel: <5%


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE                               
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 2 (two) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS                           
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization.  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS                               
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY                               
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  

COMPUTER SKILLS                               
Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.
