Join Micron Technology, Inc. as a TD Device Characterization Engineering Intern!

Are you an aspiring engineering professional with a passion for semiconductor technology? Micron’s TD Electrical Device Reliability team is looking for a motivated intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the future of memory technologies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Hands-On Experience: Perform measurements to characterize the reliability of novel semiconductor and memory devices, including CMOS and interconnects.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret your measurements to drive device or process-level improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams across process integration, process development, design, product, manufacturing, quality, and characterization.
  • Innovation: Assist in developing new methodologies for characterizing, screening, and analyzing semiconductor device reliability.
  • Reporting: Share your findings with engineering teams in a collaborative environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical Background: Course-work foundation in semiconductor device physics, circuits, and/or processing.
  • Problem-Solving: Self-motivated and creative in finding solutions to technical challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Instrumentation: Experience with semiconductor device measurement instrumentation, such as parameter analyzers, LCR meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and wafer probers.
  • Coding & Analytics Proficiency: Knowledgeable in Python, C/C++, Unix/Linux, JMP/JSL, R, or similar.

Education Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
