Manager Internal Audit & J-SOX (m/f/d) in Full- or Part-time (Ref.No. R1006594) at our location in Ditzingen

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

As Manager Internal Audit & J-SOX (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the integration of a J-SOX internal controls framework in accordance with Hitachi J-SOX Methodology across in-scope legal entities and onboarding of local process and controls owners. Following the successful integration of J-SOX testing and reporting activities, the remit of the role and the team will extend towards risk-based internal audit activities across operational, project, corporate, financial and compliance areas.

It also involves the following tasks:

  • You will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of internal auditors and managing co-source partners to ensure audit processes are efficient and effective

  • Focus on developing the skills and capabilities of individual team members, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their professional growth and performance

  • You will plan and execute a wide range of complex internal audits, ensuring that all audits are conducted thoroughly and accurately

  • Following each audit, you will prepare detailed audit reports that clearly and concisely present the audit findings to senior management

  • Organize and conduct workshops and training sessions for process and control owners to ensure they are adequately onboarded and knowledgeable about J-SOX requirements

  • Work closely with management to ensure the successful implementation of agreed-upon audit and J-SOX actions, promoting a culture of risk awareness and control within the organization

You have:

  • You have successfully completed qualifications as an Accountant or Auditor (e.g., ACCA/ACA/IIA) or have equivalent experience

  • Profound experience in Internal Audit, Internal Controls, or J-SOX is required

  • As a leader, you have experience in managing and developing team members

  • Experience or understanding of the manufacturing/engineering industry producing digital solutions, heavy plant or machinery (e.g., Railway, Aerospace, Automotive) would be advantageous

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of an international and cross-cultural team are essential

  • Willingness to travel internationally for Internal Audit & J-SOX assignments and management meetings is required

  • You are business fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage
