Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

Assessment:

  • Performs evaluation/assessment and diagnosis.
  • Creates team treatment plan and utilizes various treatment modalities.
  • Creates team treatment plan.
  • Engages family when appropriate in the development of treatment plans.
  • Re-assess and recommend changes to the treatment plan when necessary.
  • May consult with primary care providers for ongoing management of behavioral health needs of their patients.
  • Communicate/notify attending, supervising, or referring providers of assessment and recommendations.
  • Re-assess and utilize various treatment modalities in plan.

Treatment:

  • Meet requirements of third-party payers.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy as identified in the treatment plan.
  • Coordinate treatment with other providers and community agencies.
  • Complete treatment plan per department policy/procedure.
  • Reassess patient needs and progress per department policy/procedure.


Job Requirements

  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology or Counseling required
  • 2 to 5 years of patient treatment in a clinical setting preferred
  • Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required upon hire and
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days
  • Formal Training/Certification in a suicide prevention modality as applicable based on role within 90 Days required

Pay Range

Pay Range: $125,000 to $140,000 per year

The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
