As an entry level Automation Technician, you will work in a manufacturing environment setting up and operating automatic, semi-automatic and related production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties

  • Exhibit Technologically savvy aptitude to ensure efficient operation of case forming, case packing, labeling and other downstream equipment.
  • Prepare, operate, and monitor automated machinery and equipment in production process.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting to identify and solution equipment failures.
  • Monitor equipment. Observe, interpret, and effectively address various system codes, signals and messages.
  • Carry out complete and thorough quality checks of packaging material.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, record keeping and performance logs.  
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance, line personnel and management to resolve inefficiencies and ensure maximum productivity. 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines as set forth by The Coca-Cola Company.

Education and Requirements

  • High School, General Education
  • Technical Training or Trade School a plus 
  • Strong Reading, Writing and Arithmetic
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Computer literacy and strong mechanical aptitude  
  • Continual job development and cross-training of all equipment 

Additional Qualifications

  • The ability to use common hand tools and small power tools
  • Flexibility to work any shift as required in a 24/5 operating facility with little notice 
  • Must be a team player and be willing to rotate positions as needed 
  • Must become certified on training plan for role within 6 months of start date

$43,992 - $53,768

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
