Senior Credentialing, Licensing, and Provider Operations Coordinator

About Tia

Tia is on a mission to transform healthcare for women by increasing access and improving the experience of key preventive healthcare services. Our "Whole Woman, Whole Life" model integrates primary care, mental health, gynecology, and dermatology to treat women as whole people. By improving the quality and lowering the cost of women's health care, we make women healthier, providers happier, and the business of care delivery stronger.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Operations Coordinator to lead and execute our credentialing and licensing workflows while driving high-priority operational initiatives. This is a highly executional role for a seasoned professional who thrives in the details and can independently manage the complexities of provider compliance and licensure as we scale. You will be the primary engine driving our providers to be audit-ready and compliant, serving as the subject-matter expert for licensure and credentialing tracking across all service lines

What You’ll Do

  • Licensing Strategy & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end medical licensing process for NPs, RNs, MDs, and PAs, navigating specific rules and variations across different states to ensure seamless expansion.
  • APP Supervision Tracking: Manage and track Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) supervision agreements and collaborative practice filings as aligned with state-specific licensing support strategies.
  • Licensure Tracking & Real-Time Monitoring: Maintain accurate, real-time tracking of provider licensure status within the Oscar system. Proactively review and resolve "flags" from real-time monitoring and licensing verification systems to prevent compliance lapses.
  • Lead Credentialing Point-Person: Independently manage day-to-day credentialing and re-credentialing workflows end-to-end for an expanding provider network.
  • Provider Coaching & Communication: Proactively guide providers through application submissions and upcoming renewals, using your expertise to "unblock" their progress and resolve potential issues.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain clean, audit-ready provider files and develop advanced tracking systems for expirables (DEA, licenses, etc.) to ensure zero lapses in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Act as the primary liaison with health system partner credentialing teams and state licensing entities to ensure accurate completions and unblock complex delays.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Drive clinical operations projects by updating complex trackers and communicating status, risks, and blockers to physician leadership.
  • Onboarding Oversight: Ensure full compliance and provider enrollment before "go-live," tracking progress across multiple cohorts simultaneously.
  • Partner with People Ops and Clinical Ops to coordinate onboarding timelines.
  • Flag risks early and escalate when timelines are at risk.

What You Bring

  • Proven Track Record: 3+ years of direct experience in healthcare operations, credentialing, licensing, or provider onboarding (MD, DO, NP, PA) across multiple states.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep familiarity with medical licensing boards, payer enrollment, CAQH, and provider data management.
  • Operational Rigor: Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational discipline in managing complex multi-state provider data.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and credentialing software; you don't just use systems, you optimize them.
  • Elite Communication: A proactive communicator who can navigate complex relationships with physician leadership and state boards with high professional competence.
  • Startup/Digital Health Experience: (Highly Preferred) Experience navigating the fast-paced, autonomous environment of a digital health startup.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience, location, and business needs - Compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and dedicated learning time off.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits effective from day one.
  • Professional development support and a mission-driven team culture

About Us:
Tia is on a mission to transform healthcare for women. We are building a high-quality, multi-specialty medical home designed specifically for women — integrating primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology and evidence-based wellness into one coordinated experience across in-person centers and a robust virtual platform.

Tia is technology-enabled, advancing and scaling excellent care through a proprietary clinical and operational platform that supports clinicians, strengthens care continuity, and improves outcomes.

We are deepening and expanding one of the most comprehensive preventive care models for women on the market — with a growing focus on cardiometabolic health, longitudinal data, and earlier risk detection across the lifespan. By integrating technology, structured clinical pathways, and mission-aligned interdisciplinary teams, Tia delivers consistently strong clinical outcomes and a differentiated care experience for women.

Tia is a Series D, venture-backed company with more than 120,000 women who trust Tia for their care, across four markets, supported by a national virtual platform. In each market, we partner with leading health systems to expand access, strengthen primary care, and improve quality for women at scale.

About Tia’s Culture:

Tia is building a culture of excellence — in people, process and product. This is our northstar value;

What is excellence, exactly?

Excellence about constantly elevating yourself, it is the process of constantly striving to perform to the best of your abilities, and identifying your top potential through constant learning, experimentation and evolution. Excellence is not about achieving perfection, as that insinuates a pinnacle. Instead, in our terms, excellence is about the pursuit of constant improvement. We’re looking for people who want to go on that hard journey of constantly setting new personal records, and organizational records.

We practice excellence at Tia by demonstrating the following types of behaviors: We chose (and actively choose) excellence as Tia’s highest order value because it crystalizes into one word several behaviors that we hold dear, specifically:

A drive to constantly improve through experimentation, reflection. and an insatiable growth mindset — said another way, we’re energized by the possibility of invention, innovation, and iteration

  • Being present in and grateful for the journey — not just the goal line. Perfection is static. Excellence is a process (more on this important distinction below)
  • Asking why, then why again — because accepting “this is just the way it is” is not good enough
  • Grit & perseverance — a maker mentality that involves “rolling up your sleeves”, but also deep care for oneself and for others
  • A commitment to uncovering talents to unlock “rock star” potential across every individual

Furthermore, excellence reflects the “bigness” and the “boldness” of Tia’s mission and vision — a world in which every woman can achieve optimal health, as defined by herself.

Said another way, Tia’s mission is NOT to make healthcare incrementally better for women. Instead, we’ve intentionally set out to create a fundamentally new paradigm for modern women’s healthcare that’s truly excellent. We believe that creating a company that operates in a culture of excellence will manifest in our product. Reaching this goal is not an overnight pursuit or a “one and done.” We have not and will not “get it right” with the first swing. Rather, this higher order goal is a moving target — one we have not and will not ever fully “achieve.” By design, we will never be “done” with this work, but instead, we will be continuously in pursuit of our mission. It is this continuous pursuit — the journey, not the finish line — that truly embodies excellence.

This position may require attendance at company and team off-sites.

Tia is an equal opportunity employer. We believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and background will lead to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users and patients. We strongly encourage people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community to apply.
