  • Salary: $132,236 - $150,222 (Pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging

About the role

  • Support the delivery of St Vincent’s strategic priorities by partnering with executives, senior managers and clinical staff to plan, facilitate and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that enhance organisational performance and patient outcomes.

  • Apply continuous improvement, change management and analytical methodologies to identify opportunities, diagnose performance issues and design sustainable improvement solutions across clinical and corporate services.

  • Coach, train and support teams and individual staff to build capability in improvement tools and techniques, enabling consistent use of best practice approaches from problem identification through to implementation and sustainability.

  • Support the collection, analysis and monitoring of qualitative and quantitative data to measure performance, track improvement outcomes and inform decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

  • Provide consultative advice and direct support to Business Owners, Stream Managers and Executives to assist in the delivery of strategic and operational plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Innovation and Improvement partners, and communicate improvement initiatives, outcomes and lessons learned through reporting, presentations and organisational forums.

About you

  • Background in clinical services improvement, with experience as a clinician (nursing, medical, allied health or other) or working within a health service in an innovation, improvement or redesign role, preferably within the health or not-for-profit sector.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in leadership and management, or currently working towards these, or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.

  • Demonstrated commitment to, and experience in, leading improvement initiatives at a senior management level, with a proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to work in a self-directed and motivated manner, as well as collaboratively within a team, supported by strong critical analysis skills and the ability to communicate succinctly using a range of mediums.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and support staff to collect, analyse and monitor data and information to identify improvement opportunities and measure change.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
