Job description

As a Capital Markets consultant, you will participate in projects to help investment banks, wealth and asset management firms, exchanges and other market infrastructure firms prepare for the markets of tomorrow.

Leveraging global strategies and data-driven insights, our capital markets practice aims to help firms rethink their business models, accelerate growth, improve operational efficiency, manage risks, redefine talent strategies, integrate sustainability at the core of businesses and more.

Key responsibilities

Suitable candidate should be able to consult with clients offering their subject matter expertise in Capital Markets functions.

Depends on the tribe you belong to, the typical responsibilities would include:

·       Assess ‘AS IS’ and define target operating model (TOM) and Target Process Architecture

·       Develop and manage business requirement specification

·       Planning and designing User Acceptance (UAT) and Business Readiness Testing

·       Change Management

·       Project management and onshore/offshore client management

·       Strengthen offerings – development of collateral, methodology refinements, best practices updates and trends tracking, create and support proposals incorporating Accenture value proposition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or engineering disciplines

• Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)

• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point package

• Aptitude for teamwork, organizational and problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to details.

Desirable competencies and Skills:

• Excellent communication, presentation and client interaction skills

• Analytical bent of mind with capability of deciding on nature of information needed and the ability to derive business sense of such information

• Think logically and present ideas convincingly

• Initiative in keeping abreast of changing industry practices, analysis and design methods, tools and techniques and emerging technologies

• Ability to develop & maintain working relationships with several stakeholders and senior professionals
