Job Description:

As an Associate Manager – Employee Central RBP Consultant, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and governance of Role-Based Permissions (RBP) within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Your role is critical in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access management aligned with business processes, HR operations, and global data protection standards.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across HR, IT, compliance, and payroll to deliver scalable and secure access solutions that support both implementation and business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain RBP roles, permission groups, and access rules in alignment with organizational structures, business needs, and compliance standards.

  • Facilitate and support security design workshops with HR and IT teams to capture access requirements and translate them into actionable RBP configurations.

  • Conduct impact assessments for new roles, organizational changes, and system enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with governance policies.

  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of access-related issues during implementations, releases, and ongoing operations.

  • Ensure RBP configurations comply with global data privacy, audit, and security frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, and internal IT controls.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive RBP documentation, including permission matrices, access policies, and training materials for HR, IT, and audit stakeholders.

  • Work closely with functional consultants, payroll, and integration teams to ensure secure and accurate data flows between SuccessFactors and integrated systems.

  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to HR operations teams, enabling them to manage RBP governance post go-live effectively.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with strong focus on Employee Central and RBP.

  • Deep understanding of RBP frameworks, permission concepts, and best practices in SAP SuccessFactors.

  • Experience in designing and implementing secure access models in complex, global environments.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, organizational structures, and data protection regulations.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical RBP solutions.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across HR, IT, and compliance.

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, SOX, etc.) and audit standards related to system access and HR data.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

  • SAP SuccessFactors certification (Employee Central or Security/RBP) is a plus.
