Job Summary

Responsible for the overall performance of financial operations by achieving operational compliance, adherence to budgets and reinforcing strategic direction in daily operations. Ensures compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Promotes a customer-driven service culture. Acts as a champion through continued focus on proactively identifying and addressing processes impacting engineering. Manages a team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees. Serves as subject matter expert and provides guidance to employees as required.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of network systems, architecture, and topology through deployment and oversight of network operations specialists
• Ensure that all operating systems are adequate, functional, and conform to operation security policies and procedures
• Assist with the development and application of business processes to ensure appropriate service levels
• Develop and implement standards, procedures, and processes for the NOC
• Participate in strategic network planning, steady state operations planning, and development of contingency operation plans
• Plan and support injection of new technologies and implementation of technology refresh
• Confer with and advise administrators, user representatives, and technical personnel regarding development and design of integrated network solutions
• Prepare recommendations based on monitoring results, tools analyses, and forensics
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures regarding network equipment, maintenance, and monitoring
• Prepare status reports
  Experience in CI/CD methodologies
• Experience supporting and maintaining software-defined infrastructure in a high traffic environment run in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Experience with Linux System Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Alma)
• Experience scripting in Python or shell languages
• Experience with containerization and orchestration services such as EKS, K9S, and Docker.
• Experience using modern log/metric aggregation software (e.g. CloudWatch, Elasticsearch + Kibana, Splunk, Grafana

​​Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and extensive hands-on with Palo Alto and Cisco products.
• Solid understanding of production TV workflows with experience integrating video solutions onto large scale networks.
• Experience investigating issues within broadcast/streaming environments and their integration points to find the root cause of problems or systemic issues.
