What You’ll Do:

Patient Care & Treatment Planning

  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve function and mobility.

  • Choose targeted treatment techniques that align with patient goals.

  • Regularly assess and adjust care plans with input from patients and families.

  • Provide education, training, and guidance for at-home care and continued progress.

Assessment & Documentation

  • Partner with physicians to create and evaluate treatment programs and discharge plans.

  • Establish realistic, patient-centered goals for recovery and long-term well-being.

  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and education provided.

Collaboration & Professionalism

  • Act as a trusted resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehab services.

  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and patient confidentiality.

  • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment.

Exceptional Patient Experience

  • Apply AIDET principles (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) in every patient interaction.

  • Support a culture of teamwork, positivity, and patient-centered care.

  • Ensure a welcoming and respectful experience for both patients and colleagues.

What You Bring:

Education & Licensure

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.

  • Current Georgia Physical Therapist license required.

  • Lymphedema Therapist Certification required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for helping patients regain independence

  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and innovation

  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication
