JR60047 Global Chemical Management Program Manager (Evergreen)Micron is committed to environmental, safety, and sustainability excellence as we strive to be the world’s best memory company. As the Global Chemical Approver, you will be responsible for ensuring that proposed chemicals meet the health, safety, environmental, and regulatory considerations for Micron’s Asia based sites. A team member in this role will leverage their collaboration and communication skills to help coordinate training, alignment, and efficiency activities in partnership with the site based chemical approvers across the various Asia based sites. Back-end manufacturing (also known as assembly or packaging) experience is a plus as strong alignment with the back-end process and procurement teams will be needed to align on chemical management policies. You will also work closely with the legal department, site operations teams, process engineers, facilities, procurement, and suppliers engineers as needed to ensure chemical compliance.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Coordinating Asia based Chemical Coordinators, and possible coordinating with US based Chemical Coordinators
Developing and providing training for Chemical Coordinators and partner teams
Complete global approval of CEDAR records
Performance of weekly check of new SAP Materials against CEDAR
Foster alignment w/ Back-end (assembly) team on chemical management policies
Assist with implementation of chemical software system
Assist in other chemical management activities as needed, such as auditing of SAP-CEDAR connections, auditing compliance to material disclosure requirements, assisting importer/exporter of record activities
Providing back-up for US based Chemical Management Program Lead
Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or Engineering
Experience
Chemical regulatory basic knowledge required
Environmental, health, or safety preferred
Semiconductor background preferred
Back-end processing knowledge preferred
Qualifications

Travel: 5-10%
