Summary:
This role is designed for a proactive professional who will act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues across a range of critical business systems. The Application Support Engineer is expected to continuously monitor system behavior, collaborate with various teams, and deliver timely solutions that ensure smooth operation and maintain business continuity. The role is dynamic and demands a keen eye for troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert and guiding the team, making and owning team decisions, and engaging with multiple groups to contribute to key project choices. The engineer will provide solutions for both their immediate team and across other teams, lead initiatives to improve system performance and reliability, mentor junior team members to strengthen their technical expertise, and coordinate with stakeholders to keep support activities aligned with business goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
On the technical front, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream, possess strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex software issues, and have experience managing and supporting enterprise-level applications in fast-paced environments. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills for documenting findings and updates, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously are all essential attributes.

Additional Information:
To be considered for the role, a minimum of 7.5 years experience in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream is required, along with a full-time education of at least 15 years.
